Huma 12fpe Leshiy problem

I installed the 12fpe huma kit in my leshiy today but have a problem. With the softer hamnerspring and the spring under the trigger guard (so the gun will cock consistently). It will cock the gun but you cannot fire it. Basically the trigger doesnt work. If I remove the spring under the trigger guard the gun will fire fine but wont cock consistently. Without that extra tension on the sear I have to completely cock it until the safety engages.

Thats a problem because I cannot take my Atlas bipod off every time I cock the gun!

It has to be an issue with the softer hammer spring vs. the spring under trigger guard because I re installed the oem hammer spring and the gun works fine like it always has.

Any suggestions? Should I just use the regular hammer speing with the 12fpe kit and use the delrin plenum insert?

Excuse my spelling and grammer, im typing this on my phone at the moment☺️

Thanks!

Just one more thing... (I feel like Columbo haha)

With the original HS installed the end hammer rests about 2mm inside the edge of the hole when uncocked. With the soft HS installed the hammer sticks out about 2mm past the end but that spring is only about 1mm longer than the original. Then shouldnt fhe hammer rest just inside the edge (about 1mm)? If Im using a spring thats 1mm longer qhy is it making the spring/hammer assembly 4mm longer? Hope this makes sense lol. Help! 🙏

I think I have the hammer seated correctly. It cocks and shoots fine until I install the spring under the trigger guard. Does the soft hammer spring just not have enough force to overcome the pressure that the spring under the trigger guard is putting on the sear? I just don't understand how that could be because pulling the trigger should drop the sear out of the way no matter what?

The hammer should rest in the same position it always has with the 12fpe HS installed right and shouldn't be sticking out of the back of the gun?

I may have to find a different spring to install under the trigger. The one that is there now came on the gun and it is a very short stiff spring. It actually looks like a piece of a Leshiy hammer spring cut to about 3/8" long.

Thanks for the help Brian!
