Anybody run one on a .22 or .25 above maybe 25fpe or so? I think the Huggett website mentions it is for 12fpe or less, so just curious if anyone was using them on more powerful guns and if it did a decent job of sound suppression.

Looking to get a smaller mod for my Dreamlite compact. The Huggett snipe I have on it works great, but is just too long for the gun. Trying to keep a compact gun, well, compact.

I have one on a Wildcat .22 running at right around 31FPE, Works just fine but I've not compared to the larger one. And certainly have no way of measuring the db's. I think I have the right shroud adapter to put the 'Snipe' on the Wildcat but it would be tomorrow and just a personal ear heard sound comparison.

I think ear-heard is really the best comparison anyway. Would be great to hear your thoughts between the two after you get a chance to test. Thanks.

A HUGGETT MINI MAGNA is comparable to the SNIPE in quiet.

Veteran shorty wearing Huggett MAGNA (THE BIG UN). MINI MAGNA in middle. Standard Belita on top.

Standard belita on my wc mk3 in .25 works absolutely perfect extremely quiet. Just sayin

That one was A DAYSTATE REDWOLF HP 25 CALIBER SPECIFIC HUGGETT. I believe the regular Black Belitas MAY BE a little different internally and not as quiet that's why the black ones are rated for up to 12fpe guns. It does not quiet my 22 Ataman AP16 pistol enough then again I believe they make them differently and not all are exactly the same.

I've been on the mower for 10hrs today (out of control) so first thing in the morning.....I checked and I do have the right adapter, but I also had some adult beverages while mowing so anything I post this evening would be questionable....

Might be a good idea testing while intoxicated because your hearing becomes more sensitive to mostly sound other than for gibberish talk right?
