Hi everyone I was just wondering if having the regulator installed on it makes any type significant differences or not ? Thanks in advance

It should make your shot string more consistent causing your POI the same. From what I heard, your power adjustment will no longer work due to the regulator.

Oh OK good to know I like using the power adjustment I don't want to lose that thanks for letting me know about that I didn't even think about that

OK, now you got me lost.
Once I install a Huma regulator, I will not be able to adjust the power on the GK1 anymore?
So, how do I regulate the power then?
By adjusting the regulator set point?
Thanks for clearing this up for me — before I spend the $$ on the Huma.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.... but because the GK1 will now be regulated, even if you turn the power to full power, only so much air will come out of the plenum. The regulator restricts the air vs. unregulated. This means you'll only be able to shoot whatever you set your regulator to. However, I think you can use the power wheel and still reduce power. But you're reducing power from the regulated plenum... if any of that makes sense. LolOK, now you got me lost.

At pistol distances and the unregulated speed consistency of the GK1, no advantage to having a regulator.

but I don't let my shooting be limited by things such as "pistol distances".....!

Please understand that adding a regulator is not for free. Doing so has a trade off. The regulator takes up volume in the air tank, which is very limited in any pistol. In the case of the GK1, it also limits the power adjustment of the firing mechanism. If you examine the muzzle velocity and POI change from a full to empty magazine without a regulator, the loss of tank volume and range of power adjustment greatly outweighs any advantage a regulator achieves. If you also recall the arguments made during the factory's development of Gregory's prototype. This subject was seriously discussed and the factory decided that a regulator was NOT an advantage as well. I think their decision was spot on . . . .your call.
