Huben Huben GK1 Target Groups (photo thread)

I think this was a better group from today.
GK1 V3 .25 standard w/Holosun 507c reflex sight. Shooting JSB King Diabolo pellets 25.39 grain. 9-shot group shot offhand standing from 10 yards.

I’d like to try to the dot alone and the circle alone on my sight as opposed to the dot/circle combo. I find it tough to see the hits on smaller targets. This circle target measures between 2.5” and 2.75” in diameter.

My shots were approx 3” CTC

Nothing to brag about, but it‘s an honest photo of a group from a novice pistol shooter shooting at close range.

I didn’t change my reticle yet, but my last group is one that I feel good about. This is the smallest target I shot measuring about 0.5” in diameter. 8-shot group shooting offhand from 10 yards out. Shot from my .25 GK1 V3 w/Holosun 507c circle/dot reticle shooting JSB King 25.39 grain diabolo pellets.

Target size approx 0.75”

Group size approx 1.25” CTC.

Now the key is to do the things I focused upon this evening for similar results.

Edit: My measurements were all off. Thankfully I took photo. Lol. I’m still happy with this group.

I am a bit proud of this group. GK1 .25, 17 shots offhand from around 15 yards at sunset with Holosun 507c reflex sight. The shots above the red line are from a target above. The low left shot off the paper could also a part of this group. I’m unsure about that shot. This was the 3rd group of 3 shot this evening.

I built this carbine recently and was sighting in and messing around with the ballistics on the dnt scope and shot this group at 100 yards. I was testing slugs from my texan 452 build on the same target so couple holes are from the 45 and a couple random holes are from the gk1 25 because I couldn't tell if i was hitting the target or not through the dnt from that far away. Once I realized I was on target I shot this 5 shot group. Ballistics still need some adjusting since i was aiming for the top of the target and hitting low.

The gun is pellet on pellet at 35 yards as well. I wont be shooting this far anymore except to tweak ballistics because I built it for 50-60 yards max, but its nice to know it still groups decent at those distances. If you want more in depth on anything just let me know. Both 22 and 25 love the GTO pellets. YMMV.

25 gk1 v3
- 2" longer LW barrel and extended air tube
- I believe power is 2 turns from closed
- ammo is 16.5 grain GTO pellets straight from the tin then seated in mag
- scope dnt thernight 640 res model
- rest was Caldwell stinger

Remarkable. And having a different barrel probably helped with accuracy? And yes, GTOs are almost universally loved by all GK1 units in terms of accuracy.

Even though I have a LW barrel now, I highly suggest people try the GTOs in there factory barrel if that's a pellet they are wanting to shoot. I only bought them because I saw other gk1 users having great luck with them and this is only a 50-60 yard gun for me. But the barrel makes the group. My barrel is LW not factory so yours might not shoot the same at 100 yards as mine. Hopefully someone else that shoots gtos will chime in you can see the difference in performance between the 2, but my 22 factory is as accurate with GTOs at 35 yards as the new LW .25 barrel.

Did you do the barrel work yourself or did someone else do it? What I REALLY like is your extended air tube which allows more shot. I'd love to have a GK1 like that! I imagine you sunk probably 2.5-3K in that unit? It really is probably my all time favorite Gk1 set up. Looks amazing but even more, the way the design has been thought through. You put some serious 'mind' work into this. Bravo.

Kelly sells the guns, all the parts I used, and did the work for me. I think labor was $50 or something like that. Yes if you add all the parts, plus the gun up it equals an amount you just dont talk about lol. The gun handles great and shoots as good as it looks. If you want to know anything specific just lmk.
