Huben 22 caliber Holy cow

Ever heard that song , I got the power, Well you will be singing that if you get a HUBEN.. I got this from the man the true expert on the Huben gun, Kraz Cool, I bought a Barra Electric BB gun a while back and its a fun gun to shoot, Really got me to thinking about a good , Time and track tested pellet gun, I read everything and the Huben popped up on all the buttons and forms,
Ever shot a good shooting semi auto Pellet gun ? It kind of opens a new book in my sport of air gunning, I got it tuned for JSB 18 gr pellets @ 900 FPS , Make no mistake this is a slug gun but I will be shooting pellets for a while, I know the gun not broke in yet but I did a few dime size groups at 48 yards easy, Jackrabbits oh my, One jumps up 10 yards away with a semi auto you don't wait for them to stop. Any way just rambling now, I should have got one a long time ago,,,,
My middle eastern guns will be sitting for a while, Cricket,Mutant,Veteranx3,Prophetx2,
Mike

The Huben .22 is an overlooked gun for some reason.
Mine shoots Outstanding be it eating pellets or slugs.

These are Very versatile guns, as you have found it can be a tame pellet shooter using the 18 gr or kick it up a notch to the 25.39 RD for an extra punch, and if that's not enough it will sling slugs at pretty much any speed you want and be Damn accurate ....

Just something i found with mine, the FX 18 gr pellets shoot a hair more accurate than the JSB. I know the JSB fan boys are probably going to say they are the same, they are NOT .. If you physically compare the 2 you will find what others and I have.

@bfloyd1095 I’ve shot 14.3 grain CPHP pellets to 35 grain slugs with decent accuracy and the same tune within 50 yards. Just had to learn my holdovers. @airgunmike56 Don’t hesitate to really put that gun through its paces. Play with various weights and types of projectiles. Just be mindful of the ones that don’t fit snugly in the mag. If you hold it muzzle up and the projectiles slide back to where the skirts or bases slightly protrude out of the magazine then that projectile’s diameter is too small for the mag and can cause cycling issues or issues with accuracy.

You'll love it. There is a slight learning curve to them. They have a broad power band from a backyard plinker to a fire breathing monster. Tuning is a snap with the externally adjustable regulator and power wheel. The only problems I've had with them are caused by me. As mentioned above use only snug pellets in the magazine. Don't shoot below 100 bar as it will give you another set of problems. Minor disassembly is required to clean the barrel, no biggy after doing it a few times it becomes second nature. I've three in my collection one in .177(custom), .22 and .25, 8 times out of 10 I'll pick up the .177. The customer service from Kelly is hands down the best I've ever received. ENJOY!

I just got the .25 caliber from Kelly and took it out yesterday. WOW! I ranged it in at 50 yards with JSB 33.95 pellets and it was outstanding. Kelly said to run about 500 shots through it to really get the barrel in shape. I will do that with pellets instead of the Alteros slugs! Trigger is very good and my only problem is to not really fly through the magazine. I ordered the pic rail from him to put on the stock for my bipod. The only drawback is having a compressor that will fill the tank to 90%! Mine only goes to 300 bar. I can smell another one in the future! @john8 is correct about Kelly's service!

Wow seems to be a word often used if you have a Huben, I would love to have a custom 177 made up but loading the magazine with the little pellets might be a problem for me, John8 you may want to look at the Crossman 177 loading pen it looks like it would be great to load the 177 Huben magazine, They dont make it in 22 caliber the Air Venture has a 22 pen but the end is flat and pretty thick, Not like the Crossman.
40 to 50 MPH winds here in west Texas so I am just reading up and cleaning my guns and stuff,
Mike

I got the wood .25 version from Kelly the end of December. I liked it so much I just got a .22 synthetic neither one of them are broken in but man oh man the first day with the .25 sighted it in at 25y than took a rabbit 40y. Kelly has been awesome and anyone looking for anything huben please reach out. The loading gate he sells is so much better than the stock one and highly recommend it. I have been working with a friend that does laser engraving and have my mag done and very happy with it. Next will be perfecting the power wheel.
