How to tell if my FX Maverick rail is the newest 20 MOA?

So how do I know if my FX Maverick rail is the newest 20 MOA rail on top?

Supposedly the first production Maverick's only had a flat non MOA rail, this must be the reason why FX came out with the FX No Limit scope rings

No i think the no limit rings was out way before the Maverick or impact M3

but i actually have no limit rings on the scope on my Maverick, and as i recall i also adjusted a tiny bit on those to have my height fairly well dialed in before going to the turret.

Really / IMO FX should have a listing that say from serial XXXXX we are 100 % sure the 20 moa are there, IMO the best way to tidy up as much as you can a mess up like that.

They won't do that, imagine in all new used classified, buyers asking what the serial number is to avoid 0 MOA rails, making it harder to sell for sellers

I dont think they ran out.

Like i did with a whole batch of expensive axles for MRI scanners, i totally bodged the whole batch on my grinding machine, thankfully the quality room did catch my blunder. ( a blunder my strange working brain will never ever let me forget, just like any other negative experience in my life )

BUT ! i dont think FX have QI on a simple thing like this, so a "bad" operator on the CNC machine and a whole batch slide by undetected.

It should be fairly easy to make a jig to inspect these before they leave the CNC machine ( lathe )

Self control should also do it, my problem on the grinder was the machine was misused at some time, so setting up to make these axles meant changing some parts on the machine, and really they should just slide right in, but Ooooo no i had to tweak the SOB machine for 30 - 60 minutes before things played as they should, of course my tolerances was good as always, but here as i did not do the alignment the tolerances i made on the outside did not play with the ones on the inside made by a CNC lathe.

Out by 0.02 mm and it was all scrap.

After that a company was called to fix my grinder, and they also partially did, but the axles was also wisely moved to a CNC grinder that could do all 5 tolerances on the outside in one go, where as i had to do them 1 at the time, meaning each axle had to go into my machine 5 times.

My 20 moa rail and my flat rail both have the hole

I was talking about the hole in with the orange arrow. However, it seems I very well could be wrong. As others mentioned previously the part circled in yellow may be the better indicator. I had seen on another forum of a non moa and a moa rail that the flat one didn't have the hole. They could have been wrong or there could have be more than one variation of the flat rails made? It shouldn't have to be that complicated, lol.

It's not that complicated but the answer is still not clear

Same as mine

Turn the scope rail upside down (after removing it from the rifle. Then find the relief cuts for the rifle's frame to interface. Then once the relief cuts are identified, turn the rail 90degrees (along its length to view the side of the rail) and at the relief cuts, there will be a small sliver of the side of the rail that is perfectly 90 degrees to the relief cuts. This is the surface you will judge the rail by.

The non 20 MOA rails will have the same thickness as this sliver from forward relief cut to the rear relief cut. The 20 MOA rails will be thinner towards the front, and thicker on the back. The difference is easily noticeable by the naked eye. If you are still unsure what spot is specified before, please send a picture of either side of the rail whether on the rifle or off and we can determine this information for you.
