Hey Guys! Here is a video about sorting your pellets like a hardcore target shooter. The video also shows a test of sorted pellets through a new Kral Arms ARMOUR in .22 caliber. Thanks for watching!

If this sizer makes the heads and the skirts the same size, that would be undesirable. You always want the skirts larger than the heads. The TR Robb sizer does this, it is more expensive, but 1000% worth it. I explain all this and more on my U Tube Channel, Field Target Tech. I describe my methods of pellet sorting from washing and lubing, weighing and sizing, as well as rolling, and I describe how and why you should do this for supreme accuracy. It's filmed crappy, in my opinion, but it's the information that is important.

Tom, I'm all over that! I'll watch your videos. Thanks for the info. Maybe that's why Tomcat never used a pellet sizer in his 5 parts series.

Also...my scale was a waste of time..only good to .01 gram (or grains)...I need one that weighs .001 sensitivity. I'm not going to spend $200 for a scale so that's off. But' I'll be trying to find a good deal on a laboratory grade scale...I'll let you all know if I find one that's affordable.

Looks like washing and rolling the pellets in a curve are the 2 best ways to get ahead. Maybe size with a pellet gauge only.

Thanks for the input! -Nate

Nate,

My scale weighs in hundredths of a grain. Make sure whatever scale you get, that it does hundredths of a grain, and not gram. My scale reads 8.00, 8.02, 8.04, etc. There is no need for a finer scale, just a scale with these specs that is consistent and reliable. I got mine from Hector Medina who owns CCA, Connecticut Custom Airguns. I believe it was around the $50 mark, and in my weighing video, I show that scale, plus another scale that I do not use, due to its lack of precision for this purpose.
