How to Read FOV Specs

I'm wondering if I could get some help figuring out how to read FOV specs rated on manufacturers sites.

eg. FOV @ 100 Yards

28-1/2'-7.2'

If i'm not mistaken, the FOV is measured at 100 Yards at minimum magnification, but there is always two numbers listed. Is the smaller number the FOV at maximum magnification?

Also, if you want to figure out the FOV at a different distance, say 50 yards, do you just do some math?

Thanks!

Correct 7.2' is at your maximum magnification at 100 yards whereas 28-1/2' is at your minimum magnification. You HALF IT at 50 yards and one quarter that at 25 yards. OPPOSITE as how you CLICK your scope turrets. Yo!
