How to re parallax Bushnell elite tactical

I have Bushnell elite tactical et35215g 3.5-21x50 scope that has minimum side parallax of 50 yards and maximum of infinity. 

I wanted to re parallax it. 

I tried to loosen the objective lense holder for adjustment but it doesn't move.

If I could move it I can change the minimum distance of parallax. 

Please advise.

Hmm. I’ve never heard of anyone trying that let alone actually doing it, I’m no expert on scopes but I don’t think it can be done, but don’t take my word for it, I’m interested to see what others have to say on this topic.

Never have done it myself but I've read that it can be done, at least on some scopes. Seems it involves removing an outer ring around the objective lens and then screwing the lens/holder in or out.

I have done it myself on a few scopes in the past with complete success. 

But the lock ring of objective ring of this scope is too tight that is why I am unable to adjust it.

What are you using to remove the bell ring? A rubber strap wrench is the best thing I have tried.

If this is your scope it looks like you will need a camera lens spanner. It appears from the pic that the lens is held in by an internal ring, not the outer cap. Looks to me to be a notch just after RAINGUARD

Yes this is the scope. Lense is held with this notched ring.

May be you are right regarding adjusting it

I have the right tool for the job and have adjusted several scopes. But I have one scope that the ring refuses to budge. Don’t wreck your scope if it doesn’t turn with minimal effort with the right tool. The next owner of your scope will be much happier living with the 50yrd minimum rather than having the scope look like a rat chewed on the objective.

Finally I am successful. 

Without any tools, just by strong hand grip, I unscrewed the objective lense carriers around 3/4 round.

Now it's parallax error free from 27 yards to 125 yards, from minimum focus ring to maximum. 

So I can't shoot at 200 yards and beyond. Things get out of focus after 125 yard but as I have to use it for pcp target shooting, it's fine for me from 27 yards to 125 yards.
