How to mount bipod on Cricket?

Here is a general explanation I found. Ive done two and it is simple. His inserts are a little different than the ones I used. Some guys just use screws right into the stock.

I used these on wood and synthetic. Got them in stainless and the black hex screws for a couple dollars at True Value Hardware. I also epoxied them in place as well as screwing them in. I tried the brass and they just break unless your super careful. Just drilled it to the depth of the insert with the appropriate bit, test fit it, pulled it out and used a tooth pick to line the walls with epoxy and screwed them back in. Looks like they came from the factory that way. Make sure your layout is correct. Its kind of unnerving to drill your stock, but ts simple. Im getting ready to do my Cricket .22 wood stock soon as the Atlas rail come in.
