My new AF 357 Carbine arrived today. Wow it makes a bang. Thinking of removing the plastic end cap and checking if a Donny fl adapter will fit. Any thoughts?
A moderator would be a great start. If you select a donnyfl, I would choose the Emperor to get as much benefit out of it. It'll probably make it at least more backyard friendly.
If you have access to a machinists..tread the barrel in Vulcan treads m14-1 n use a roning ldc ...my 308 texan in carbine mode with a roning..anything longer with defeats the purpose of the carbine...my adapter was way to loose..m14-1 is the biggest tread pattern you could use in a donny LCD..next is m20 fx tread are bigger than the barrel..when I use it in rifle mode a shogun is enough even for indoor tests...enjoy your new toy..
A .357 AF Carbine does make a loud bang like Texan. I'd definitely go with something size of DonnyFL Emperor at least. Just go to DonnyFL website and email him. He is a great guy to ask about possibility.
Thanks for the input guys. Very much appreciated . Going to do some outdoor shooting this weekend and put her through the paces. Then decide which way to go.. I am very curious how this gun stacks up against my 357 Slayer in all categories
