I'm having trouble filming through my scope with my Diy scope mount. The auto focus on my phone keeps messing up my sight picture, how do you turn it off? Is there a secret or tip to filming with the iPhone?

Launch the Camera app from your Home screen or Lock screen. Tap and hold on your focal point until you see an AE/AF Lock banner appear at the top of the screen. That should keep the iphone focus on what you wanted.

Thank very much it works I should of known something that simple, dam I feel dumb. That's why I love these forums, you always got somebody nice enough to help you out. I'll film some stuff when I get off work today and post it for you guys.

Ok I did film some footage with my iPhone and DIY phone mount but I erased it because I missed the few birds I was aiming at because I had my scope set up for 100yds from target shooting this past weekend and needed to make some adjustments but didn't have enough sun light left today after I got off work. I'll try again tomorrow.
