Somewhere during summer I did a mistake ones (I was in a hurry) and top up two of my scba bottles for BR tethering, but the humidity was very high.

Exactly at that time my YH did not had a (basic) water/oil separator operational. Since then I got all setup back again with a large orange two stage unit from ali, and now working flawless.

The shooting was terrible, and couple weeks ago I cleaned the Reg it was full with water+oil gunk, but I would like to empty now the FX CF bottle as well, and may happen I will need to wipe clean the plenum as well.

Yesterday I emptied two of my scba and started filling it up again from zero, 40% moisture in my man's cave (I am considering that a pretty dry air at my location)

The FX bottle valve - I don't want to push the pin with a pin, any other tricks you can recommend?

If you don't mind spending a few bucks, the saber tactical bottle degasser and valve removal tools make degassing the bottle and removing the valve very easy.

If you don't want to buy the above tool, the easiest way to degas the bottle is to do what dizzums described above-- with the bottle still on the gun, loosen the pressure gauge and let everything vent. Then remove the bottle from the gun and the valve from the bottle if you want to inspect and clean the bottle.

Use the gun, put the bottle on the gun and unscrew the reg gauge till it starts draining and leave it.

This is the magic I want! how come I could not get that idea first ;(

I put it on a gun right on the edge of the valve, but only hisses short, I have to do + 5 minutes and - 5 minutes, but stopped with that game I don't want to wear out the thread and the oring.
