How to build a HEATED winter shooting shack for under $400!! (Video inside)

If you live where it gets super cold in the winter, you NEED to build yourself a heated shooting shack! You can get it done in under $400 and here I show you just how to do it!

Links to the stuff I used:
VEVOR 8x14x7.6ft Shed: https://s.vevor.com/bfQKvj
VEVOR Diesel heater: https://s.vevor.com/bfQL19
VEVOR 4500psi orange compressor: https://s.vevor.com/bfQmHz
VEVOR Smaller, budget-minded blue compressor: https://s.vevor.com/bfQpEo
VEVOR Heavy duty 30A extension cord: https://s.vevor.com/bfQL5c
12V Power supply, exact one in video: https://amzn.to/3RFnfRe
Caldwell Folding Shooting Bench (AMAZING!): https://amzn.to/3FtShEy

This thing is AWESOME!

Very nice, I have been putting together a shooting shack also, unfortunately my FX pocket chrony v1, no longer sees the pellet. I have tried adjusting the light and moving the chrony around and no luck, going to try mounting the chrony outside next. Have you had a chance to try your chrony inside your shack yet?
The FX True Ballistic Chrony has been working fine. I have not tried my V1 or V2 pocket chronies but I see no reason why they wouldn't work in there. They do not operate off light but radar.

Has to be positioning or a defective chrono. Those have nothing to do with light and will actually work in pitch dark. Just make sure you don’t actually have some kind of object between your bench and the door blocking the radar beam. That will cause it not to work.

Try using the recommended batteries to resolve. I was having issues with my FX chrony until I upgraded to Energizer Lithium batteries. On e I switched it became much more consistent.

Yeah that's what I thought, the Chrony seems to be functioning ok outside of shack. I did read a members post that said the background is part of the equation too, but offered no insight. I will try re positioning again.

I've used similar products for temporary work shops. They're great, instant building. If I was going to leave it up for extended periods of time I'd brace it and securely fasten it to the ground, they make great sails. That heater intrigues me. I'm looking forward to a review after a season of use.
The diesel heaters are popular in the overlanding and van life crowd.

I put my last Energizer Lithium battery's in my FX chrony. I see the Energizer Lithiums are available again, they were very scarce and expensive a awhile back.

Max, your ice shanty shooting shack post motivated me to get moving on my hunting blind shooting shack. Thanks for the motivation that I needed. :)

Get some of those screw into the ground stakes for that!
And let me tell you from experience! Get the long ones!
I had (as in past tense) a Unit like that until last Winter. A heck of a Wind event came through.
The Frame went 100 yards east. The fabric is now in shreads in a storage shed. And the frame now holds targets out there!
I had 6 12" screw in stakes with ratchet straps holding the whole setup!
I'm in Ohio so you get some of the same wind at times.
