How to be able to sight at close distances (10’ to 12’) and at 25 to 40 yds?

Around my parts we call that kind of close shot a "Barrel shot". Just look down the side of the gun and you can usually connect at 10ft or so. I have used it with good success on chipmunks to raccoons. Practice it on a close target and within a magazine you will be deadly. Kinda like shooting a long bow if I had to compare it to anything.

Interesting that you would mention that as I was trying just that (sighting down the side of the barrel) for a short bit yesterday with my Red Wolf .22HP. I can see how that can work! Thanks. Good idea. I’m still tempted to pick up a Weihrauch HW30 with adjustable iron sights just for a totally different kind of air rifle experience. I get the impression that they are really great, accurate, fun low-power rifles.
