Going to convert FX Dreamlite to a bottle ( 580 cc). Will need the "bottle adapter" that has the AMP regulator. How does one adjust the regulator? Is there an external screw like what is on the tank version?

Yes, tighten the screw to decrease pressure. Loosen the screw to increase pressure. Tighten it down when installing so you can work your way up to the speed you want while loosening. You can't go too fast when tihtening. Quarter turn, then shoot down the pressure before going quarter tighter. Better to start at the lowest setting and work your way up.

Maybe I didn’t ask my question correctly… Just how does one do this? Is there / Where is the adjustment screw located? Can it be done with bottle attached?

The location of the adjustment screw is on the bottom of the bottle adapter. It can be adjusted with the bottle on the gun. I’ve got one on my dream line light.

Yup the adjustment screw is on the bottom of the bottle holder. There is an access hole through the picatinny rail if you don't have an plenum extension. With the plenum it is out past the rail.

480 is plenty. Do you have the compact barrel or something longer? May run into issues with moderator clearance on the short barrels and the 580 bottle. Mine have 220cc bottles and I can get 4-5 mags before droping below the reg. Shooting 177 and 22 at about 750 fps with the short barrels.
