How tight should .357 pellet be when loading?

Hi guys, might be a dumb question. But here it goes. Ready to test fire Evanix Rex .357 and when I went to load a pellet into the chamber the skirt seems way to big. So I don't want to get it jammed in there, if I close the breach.

How tight is the fit supposed to be?

Does the pellet conform to the proper size for firing once the breach is closed?

Thanks in advance.

Is it a slug or a pellet? May want to identify the make and model for the readers. The geometry and alloy can make a big difference in how much resistance it will present when being chambered.

It's a pellet Fianigan's precision AirGun Ammunition. Not sure on the exact weight? The lable on the bottom rubbed off, just reads .357.

They seem to be a somewhat soft lead compound. Easily marred with a fingernail

Here is a pic if it helps?
