When there's hunting available, I can be out shooting quite often. But when there's nothing to hunt, I just go out occasionally to make sure both myself and the pellet gun are "in-tune".

Sometimes two or three times a day. Nothing wrong with that. Perfectly normal. But SOME people think that’s excessive. SOME people think that it’s a sign of deeper problems. Nothing wrong with playing with your gun three or four times a day. In fact it’s healthy! Yeah, real healthy! Four or five times a day is healthy. In fact five or even six times a day wouldn’t be excessive! I’d play with my gun all day long if I could just find my marbles.

I'm new to the air side of shooting and have just one, an Avenger that arrived this week. Sighted in at the range today. While the range is pretty close, I'm hoping to create a private range in my backyard, so I can shoot frequently. I have a bit over 1.5 acres to work with.

I voted for as often as possible although the last few months with unwanted pests in the yard, it's been more pesting than fun.
Current tally is 11 woodchucks, 6 raccoons and 54 squirrels now not tearing up my father's yard.

NOW I shoot Several time a week, after I finally setup a "home range".
Nothing fancy, just a solid backstop in the basement - 3 inches of heavy corrugated cardboard, followed by 1.5 inches of foam, then a heavy metal plate that measures 30 x 36 inches. Works great & big enuff to be safe. For safety, I only shoot when I'm home alone & the dog stays upstairs.

Changes with the Season’s. Almost none in the winter, once a week or less in the summer. Daily in the spring, especially when young and dumb Starlings make themselves easy prey. Several times a week in fall. I wish I had a setup that would make shooting in the winter and Summer more tolerable.

My response was that I use my airguns several times a week, but I am retired so quit often I shoot every day. In any event, I shoot as often as I can. I like to keep my "O" rings and seals flexible

It's just after the rollover to 2023 and lately I have been shooting at least once a day, sometimes more. I'm sure once the rain returns (tomorrow?) that will be less frequent. It's been easier to get out since I have been rotating through exercising my spring guns. It's fresh and exciting again! It just goes to show that we should keep at least one springer in the house for that occasional change of pace. I even have some SSP and MSP airguns to keep the love alive.

I used to shoot every other day when working for home was possible. Now that I'm back in the office, I'm lucky to steal a weekend afternoon to plink.

I live in the south central. I try to shoot everyday but the weather doesn’t always cooperate. and other hobbies take time also .
