So I've been working on an upgrade to the factory shrouded barrel on the Benjamin Bulldog and now that I'm getting close to a production model I need to start thinking about pricing. The factory baffle does not support the end of the barrel (this is done by a separate piece) and has to have a large hole to prevent baffle strikes. Mine has three baffles before the end of the shroud and replaces the factory barrel support to maintain center. The long version has an additional 7 baffles.
I will have 2 versions for now. A short and a long version that slides into the end of the shroud and is held in place by 2 screws. They will be 3d printed out of ABS plastic and take about 6 hours to print out and will have about 10 minutes of hand cleanup after printed. I've got about 60+ hours of design time in these and about $2000 in tooling and bits and materials on the Aluminum versions.
I was thinking 120 for the short and 180 for the long shipped for free anywhere in the lower 48.
Do you guys think that is a fair price? to low? to high?
Please note that these pictures are low quality fast prints with cheap materials, just for testing. The production versions will be black.
