I waited for months to get the EDgun R5M Matador with the laminated stock. I even spoke by phone to Brian at EDgun West about acquiring the rifle when the next shipment arrived -- this was in November 2018. He took my email address and agreed to notify when the next shipment arrived. To date, no notification. However, after checking EDgun West's site ~3 weeks ago, I found that the R5M Matador(s) had in fact arrived at EDgun West.
The Matador R5Ms listed were all decked out in the walnut stocks. These bullpups are listed at $1875. Further investigation on EDgun West's site reveals that the laminated stocks were available -- available at a cost of $195.
I called Brian expressing my desire to obtain the EDgun Matador R5M in laminate. Brian informed me that he has the gun in walnut, however, he has no guns in laminate. Although the laminate stocks are available, sold separately.
You do the math!
This from the man whom I purchased 2 EDgun electronic gauges from, for $95 each. Later to find out that I was charged $18 dollars for the shipping of a parcel that cost what, $2 to ship by USPS. I learned from this incident to always ask for the total cost of my transaction, including shipping cost.
This is Brian's business. He is free to charge whatever he can get for his merchandise. I've moved on. My next bullpup, to be purchased next week, will be the custom, hydro dipped FX Wildcat .30 caliber from Utah Airguns.
