How much have you shot during covid?

Being lucky to be able to shoot in my backyard the virus has not changed my shooting times;I would guess :average 50 pellets a day everyday, from 7-8 different pellet guns....PCP pistols and springer rifles being in the majority.Average 25 shoots before refills with PCP pistols, usually 3 different ones...the go to springer rifles for nest day....whatever I fill like ...LOL....

Been out of work since January 6, 2020. Had surgery Feb 24, 2020 for multiple tears in my right shoulder the doctor described as "looks like you hit a home run" when he was showing me the MRI pics and said what he was looking at was something that had been going on quite awhile and finally tore completely. Explains the sore shoulder for almost a year I always put off to my job, which was on a production line that makes heavy duty truck axles for Dana and Meritor.

Fully torn bicep, fully torn tendon, fully torn ligament, torn cartilege in the shoulder socket, burrs on my collar bone that would need to be shaved due to putting pressure on nerves in my shoulder along with some tissue damage around the socket. Spent 2 months with my arm in a sling and strapped to me, then 4+ months in therapy during which the unexpected part of it all cropped up. I have involuntary muscle spasms in my right arm that can be anything from just small jumps to uncontrollable shaking and 3 semi numb fingertips.

I have shot some. I don't lack for rifles with 22 and some pistols or pellets since I have something close to 90,000 sitting here some but only a Beeman R7 and only shooting lefty which has taken some work after 57 years doing everything right handed. Also not an easy trick because if the right arm shakes, all of me does and it throws shots...lol. Now add in I live in NY and mother nature finally decided it was time to catch up so my guns are back sitting idle again.

No biggie, I've screwed up other parts of me and always found a way to do things. I will with this too :)

About the same for me ... I also have a big “yard”.

Hay, come by an shoot with us sometime. We have been shooting more 12fpe lately.

I’m not sure what you have counts as a yard. Cindy and I were just discussing your place a few days ago.

Yah, In the condition its in, few would consider it a yard I guess. Sometimes I call it a ranch, more often just “my property” as though we do have livestock, they are really pets, though they really do help keep weeds down somewhat. That said, I could shoot around 300+ yards safely on the property if i wanted to.

Due to the price and shortage of powder gun ammo I’ve rediscovered air rifle shooting and replaced my old Gamo 880S with a Walther Reign in .22. I’ve shot almost 5 tins of 500 pellets so far. COVID hasn’t kept me from working, so most of my back yard shooting is done on my days off. Airgunning is definitely scratching my shooting itch and now that I’ve got a good starter PCP, I’m looking to get another one shortly. I can’t decide between an FX Maverick, Tiapan Veteran, or RMS Prophet. For now though I’m happy with the Reign, and am getting good half inch groups at 50m.
