What part of, i don't have the setup same as Bob don't you understand to do such a chrony test unlike Bob has.
I'm sure if Bob can hit a pigeon @ 218 yards going through a chrony would be easy.

Also higher speeds tend to lower bc. as a powder burner guy it’s pretty easy to believe that the bc is that high and that it would retain that type of energy.

I didn’t have any 40gr slugs, just 36gr in .22 cal. Fired at 875fps, still going 678fps at 220yds with an energy of 35.8 ft lbs.
and I don’t know the BC of the 36 gr. slugs so I used .114

Lol wow that was almost comical how bad he was being. I don't understand why the only proof in the pudding is over the chrony. When you dial in your target at 218yds and hit it obvious that's proof right there.

Exactly. I enter all the data, validate the trajectory, pull up the table and make my turret tape. Then I range and dial the yardage and bingo!
Mark (cahil_2) shot with me last week. We ranged and dialed, and smoked some pigeons at 147 and 195yds.
If the trajectory is there then the velocity is there, and so is the energy. I don't know why he wouldn't accept that.

He was trolling but I don't really think that was his original intent. It appeared to begin as a genuine ignorance of the difference in ballistic coefficients of skirted vs boat tail projectiles. Unfortunately there are some people who, even when shown a picture of Earth from space, will insist it is flat. This quote comes to mind...
