How much do you shoot?

After my recent 10-day hunting trip out of state, I am trying to force myself to take a break from air gunning to get some work done around the house. I currently do have three of my airguns back at the backdoor. They were in the safe place when starting this new venture. I did get the deck washed and sanded mostly, but more to go. I have not set my shooting table up on the deck which is helping my offhand shooting out during the rains/breaks. How much do I shoot...Not much, just a few, LOL. I blame it on the castings I do plus a couple of coons and a ground hog that tempted me, but have been able to slow my roll a bit, which is a start.

Every day in my basement range.

Training may include shooting a standard ISSF match- 60 shots plus sighters. Shooting a double match- 120 shots plus sighters (for endurance), or shooting a training cycle- something as simple as trying to put 40 shots into the 8 ring, only- I call it crazy 8’s.

This week, though, I am dealing with tennis elbow and wearing a brace while shooting and sticking with 40 shot cycles.

Before Covid, I was shooting 2-3 times/week throughout the winter, with a competition once/month. I usually shot 60-70 shots/session with more on competition day. During the summer, I was shooting 1-2 times/week with two competitions/summer. This was a combination of air and smallbore, with a little high power for fun.

During the last year I have been averaging once a month-hoping to find some enthusiasm.
