Septic -
You need to jump up a little in cost. I just received a new Steyr LP50 Compact today. My most expensive gun (pistol OR rifle), paid for price wise.
While it is a "few" dollars, you can see and feel where most of it's located. And...it's very easy to shoot..! Today, after sighting in the Leupold, Deltapoint Pro that I mounted to it, adjusting the grip, at about 30ft., I put a magazine (5 rounds) full into a group fully within the diameter of a dime, off hand, just a little elbow side support. This is better than any of my other pistols, even after getting to know them.
I bought the standard version, about 550ft/sec. It's amazingly quiet for not having any sort of baffling or actual silencer on it. The trigger is fully adjustable, though as of now, it feels fine as is. The grip is even adjustable for side to side, rotation and angle, along with the palm shelf adjustability..
The barrel is like a mirror inside the bore, no polishing required.

This post is so pompous it’s freakin hilarious
Its like a guy bragging about his Ferrari to a guy with a Volvo, telling him he should just buy a Ferrari

I’ll keep an eye out for you for one if you would like. One that looks to be in good shape and in good working condition for a reasonable price. There was quite a few of them on eBay, and some of them were going for pretty good prices but at that time I didn’t have any money to spend on one. It didn’t take long for the prices to start to go up. But I just looked on there and there is none on there now.
I find the Hy Score 800 to be similar to a Tempest in that it isn't easy to shoot well. Too bad as it looks and holds so nice. An HW70 isn't too bad. The Gamo Falcon variant are interesting. Although I have never held one. A Gamo Compact is a definite winner. And only about $100 when I bought mine. You won't even get near a used one for that anymore. My favorite plinking pistol is a second variant Crosman 150 with the wrap around grips because I have big ape hands. Gets a lot of shots on low power and that is sufficient for shooting cans at air pistol range.one handed. One more, the Crosman MK1 and 2 (two more?). Another great shooter that really must be experienced. You have a hard time landing these Crosmans (Crosmen?) for less than a C note.
