How many airguns do you Fn need?

One was all I needed. It did everything I asked of it then it broke. Springs, seals etc are difficult to get in the bush where I live or a very long drive is required so I bought a spare to take the load off number one and so I would always have a rifle at hand should the occasion arise.

Initially I was using a lot of lead so I thought I would buy a quality German springer to also share the load. Then I thought I would buy another one just because I could. So now I have four springers which I’m very happy with. All 22 cal. Benjamin Titan, Lgv Challenger Ultra, Hw 77 stainless with beach stock and a Hw50s.

Someone in an earlier post of this sort werqed out a simple mathematical equation for this. I think it was;

(guns needed) = n+1

I think it is a very eloquent way of summing it all up in reality.

If I could go back and just buy the guns that I have narrowed down to my favorites, I would be so far ahead. I literally only need a few Taipan Veterans and a @nervoustrig QB79. Everything else is just fluff to have for fun.

My recent purchase of a used but new, 30 cal LCS SK17 left me a feeling of completeness. With an impact and two wildcats on hand, a Marauder, a PRod, and a monster Hercules Bully, I don’t need anything else. The semi auto in the LCS scratched that itch, something the other pcp’s couldn’t fill.

also have a beeman RX1 gas ram and a Benjamin nitro piston, so between all of these I’m covered.

Sadly, the wife does not agree. But that's just one thing we don't agree on.

Have way more than I need but always seem to find another. Modern guns are great I'm pretty set there.

WARNING 

Dont go down the vintage airgun hole. It's more expensive than any modern airgun addiction. There always something old that's new.

I need one for each of the kids (we have 8)

Life WAS a lot simpler I'll grant you, when I only had a Benji 392 for general usage and a 1377 for snakes when fishing.

During most of my lifetime up until February 1999, I made do w/ a 5mm Sheridan. 5mm Sheridan's can handle just about ANYTHING.
