I agree but would love to have a second hand ghost lol
Here is the listing...hasn't been marked as sold yet but it could be that he forgot to b/c it's hard to believe that it hasn't sold. FWIW, I know this seller and have bought multiple rifles from him in the last:

So if this is a slug gun and there is a supose to be sub 12 version. Will that mean the sub12 will shoot slugs or pellets?

Allen
The Panthera 500 uses the standard FX Superior STX barrel liner that shoots both pellets and light weight slugs

Another thread bashing the panthera. Man this rifle is getting a hard start. If only you haters would make the same amount of posts when a new daystate/brk rifle came out, or a new Uragan or a new prophet, or anything else for that matter. I’ve never seen so many hater posts on one gun before. So many FX haters for no reason. The gun isn’t even in peoples hands, and there’s more hate for it than anything else I’ve seen on this forum.
Y’all need to chill out and wait till it gets in REAL people’s hands. We might all find out that this thing is worth all the hype FX is putting behind it!!

Why are you so angry? I’m not lying, I have spent thousands of dollars in this game. I only want people who have to work and save their money to not have the same experience I do. I’m not looking to gain anything. Or sway anyone, but slug guns don’t shoot pellets as well, casting is a process that not everyone wants to do. And casting components and equipment is way more expensive and time consuming than most people want to deal with. Just like swagging, how many people out there want to breathe lead fumes? It’s not for everyone, so let’s keep it real
You are stating absolutes that do not exist. I would bet that you are not stupid, but your comments point in that direction. There are almost always exceptions to everything. I have a Crown with a superior heavy barrel that shoots the heavy JSB Exact 34 gr pellet every bit as well as the JSB 34 gr slug. In fact, the POI of both up to 100 yds is about the same. You also stated that casting is less expensive than purchasing. That might be true if you got all your equipment for free and you consider your time worthless.

Have they even shown up in peoples hands yet? Lmao. I don’t get what it matters. You can take any hobby x y z whatever. New product comes out and there are always people That have to get whatever is new right away. Those are the same people that are more about trying and switching said product than the hobby itself and will be on to the next thing no matter what. It is in no way a reflection of how well the product is built or performs. How do I know this? This was me in archery a number of years ago. Would see the same thing.

Perspective is a funny thing.

Here I am, remarking at how many people are vehemently defending the Panthera, (despite none being in the wild) whereas with the Ghost I've seen MUCHO negative comments and statements along the lines of, "well it's got a new valve in it so we'll have to see how it does, long-term." Completely and conveniently glossing over the fact that the valve has been in use in the Delta for 2 years, while the Panthera actually has a completely new valve and there's only excitement for it. Or, "the Ghost is just a copy of the Impact," x47 duplicates of the same assertion. The Ghost is no more a copy of the Impact than the Panthera is a copy of a rear bottle Airforce gun.

Anyway, the brand loyalty is a funny thing to watch. There were borderline death threats the other night here on AGN, between a pro-Panthera guy versus anti-Panthera individual, NEITHER of which have seen or held said gun.

Skeptical optimism is a wiser choice than blindly agreeing with marketing claims, from any company, airgun or otherwise.

Actually I stated all the equipment to cast isn’t something everyone can afford. So I’m stupid but you can’t even quote me right?

Why are so many people's panties getting all bunched up over this? OP is just asking when we think the first 2nd hand Panthera is going to show up on the Classifieds - pretty basic question that I'm not reading much into. Maybe he's asking because he wants one but doesn't want to pay the full retail so he'll snap up the first slightly used unit that gets sold.

Why do some people have to make a big deal out of even the most trivial things?

You show me an example of a dedicated slug gun that shoot pellets. I have never heard of one. That’s why the major manufacturers make dedicated components for slug guns. Why would there be a market for these parts if all Gus shoot pellets and slugs equally???the answer is that they don’t. You want an example look at any video on YouTube or any other platform that demonstrates a different experience. And if you can do it in a real life setting, then inform us all so we can save some money.
Well, there you go several members already de-bunked your blanket statement, I knew that wouln't take that long at all 😂
