How I [thought I] won Pyramid Air's Backyard Brawl contest...

First and foremost… congrats to the real winner of the Pyramid Air Backyard Brawl contest. This video is by no means a goof on him or his video. I love that someone won this contest like him!

This is however me goofing on Pyramid Air, the shell game that was the rules, and the politics in this tiny little hobby industry we call airguns. All good fun… and if you don’t see it that way… apologies. I know Ted has a sense of humor, and since he knocked my favorite airgun of all time in his “review”… he gets a little ribbing here too ;).

This is a departure from my normal pest control videos… but stay tuned, as a Best of 2018 video is in the works… until then, enjoy the reenactment of something that didn’t actually happen.

Cheers,

T

Funny and very good editing. But don't you work for Edgun? At the very least you've got to be affiliated with Edgun or Edgun West. I've seen most of your videos, and each one is a gross promotion for the brand. If you don't get payed or receive free gear, or have affiliated links, then you should - because that's the perception.

I'm friends with Brian, but other than some pellets, and little parts, I've paid for everything... including all of the guns. Kind of a long story on "why" I made this channel, website, etc... but just wanted to clear anything up about me working there. I sponsor myself ;)... much to the dismay of my wife lol.

Nicely done. To bad you didn't win, lighting a match had to have been a tough shot.

Smitty

the first couple times I did it, it took like 3 or 4 shots. This one took awhile. The conditions were sh!t. kind of wet and wind gusts. I lit a match a couple times, but the wind blew it out before the wick caught. I probably shot 50+ before it worked as planned.
