How high will they go ?? FWD 124/127D

Wayne,

Doing pretty good, how about you? Shot the Sig a couple of weeks ago and it is still a lot better than me. Shot 20 shots and had about 15 in an inch @ 40 yds.

Too hot and dry here. Heat index today was 117. Take care and be safe.

Doing all right!! Haven't been shooting the Sig that much. Mostly using my RWS 34 .22cal. You take care and be safe as well ! That's darn good for 20 shots.

Looks like the 127 JNC is going to sell at 1299 or better. I guess the buyer figured out how much time and effort went into this fine old girl and just how rare it is. The last 127 to sell on Ebay went for over 1300 and it was in rough shape. This one is definitely better in every way.

Mr Golden State, to answer your question, it seems as though the sky is the limit on how high these old rifles will go!

To those who think that Welfare checks are the reason why people are willing to spend so much.... ask yourself. ...how did YOU get money for your airguns? I for one have to work to earn the money to buy. I believe that the vast majority of airgun buyers do the same.

Bottom line is that as the airgun community grows, more and more people want access to these old guns. Simple supply and demand dictate the prices. Seven or eight years ago 700 was a lot to pay for a 127. 4 years ago 900 and last year over 1000. So, it doesn't surprise me that as the demand goes up and supplies become scarce that you see them for 1300.

IMO, it's only a matter of time before they take off like the Sheridan Super Grade did. I bought an SG 3 years ago for 900.....now they sell for over 2000! I think a pristine 127D will be at that price point before you know it.

Anyway, that's just my 2 cents. Lol

That's insanity. Guess I just don't have the collector mindset.

$1300 is a lot of bread to end up with a gun with weak barrel lockup and a watered down trigger.

But I guess if you're just gonna stick it on the wall it don't matter lol

Whoever bought it I hope it makes them happy. That's all that matters, we are here for a good time not a long time!
