I took the shroud off and lost roughly 4 inches so shes down to 40.5 inches and shoots awesome. I actually liked the shroud but hated the length of the gun plus I lost some weight because that factory shroud is heavy duty.

She actually looks long but is only 40.5 inches so even shorter than a gamo urban . Keep in mind the r-10 stock is short so it makes the gun look long until in hands .

What moderator did you replace the shroud with? I've been kicking around the idea of doing the same to mine with a DonnyFl (Tanto?) Yours looks good. Did it get quieter?

Looks good! Did the same thing with my PCPs (got idea from @Centercut ) only difference is added Carbon Fiber Tube to mimic the shroud without adding weight.

The donny is a tanto 25 but actually makes it quieter than stock shroud...I bought a 25 version to use on other guns .

Beautifully setup I like the idea of losing the shroud. Does it make a difference getting the 25 version, I had the same thought about using it on my 22 and 25? Would you lose performance on the 22 do to the larger bore size?

That transitional cone piece looks great. Was that something additional from Donny that he had on hand for the sole purpose of blending the barrel to the LDC?

That cone fit the bsa so perfect I swear he made it for bsa....I have both the bolt and cone . You can buy the tanto with either bolt or cone.

Looks great! I actually bought a shorter shroud and am only running 2 baffles in my armada but I put the ronin on it and it worked out great. Donny makes excellent products and that is one good lookin rifle.
