How do you store your bullpups?

This sounds like a dumb question but I'm genuinely curious, lol.

Most of the rifles I own are powder burners with longer barrels so I have a gun safe where they are stored standing on their end with the barrel resting into the barrel rests in the safe. However, my FX Impact is too short even for the lower rest I have for my AR15.

I thought about getting one of those magnetic rests but the scope mount is so high on this thing that the uncapped elevation turret will hit the safe before the barrel hits the rest so that may not work.

Are you guys leaving the rifle laying down in a case? Or is there some other simple solution that I'm missing?

I open the safe and put it in where it fits.kinda like a close closset.hope this helps.

I put it between all the traditional rifles. It looks funny, being so short, but nothing to worry about. I'm careful not to scratch them together when putting them in.

Thanks. I guess I'm paranoid about the Impact and not wanting to cause any damage by leaning it on the barrel. I'm not sure if this removable barrel system is as sturdy as a traditional setup.

I did read one post from a member stating that he had problems from the very situation you describe, but that's only one data point. I don't have the personal experience to opine one way or the other, but mine stays flat in a hard case.
