How do you record and track your pellet/range results?

I keep a spiral backed (college) notebool for each gun, recording Date; weather data every hour or two/when there is a significant change (temperature, humidity, wind); who else is there; accuracy for various pellets.

Is there a better method?

What else is useful to record?

We shoot from benches, with rests and/or bags, paper for sighting and group assessment, but primarily steel silhouettes to 160 meters, if that makes a difference.

<< not as reliable as it use to be, but still does all right. Otherwise as they say, isn't there an app for that? I don't have one of those smart phone things, and that is a rariety these days.

I am a loyal Samsung Note / Ultra user because I can just slide the pen out of the phone, scribble a note, and the put the pen back (note is auto-saved).

I’ve been testing pellets, slugs and different tunes for my new gun, and was wondering how to put that data into a spreadsheet to be useful. Projectile type & speed, gun settings, groupings & distance, etc.

I‘ve been writing into a notebook, exporting and keeping the FX chrono data digitally, and taking pictures of the targets with my phone and storing them.

Looking forward to seeing what others are doing.

I just keep shooting and adjusting until I can hit what I'm aiming at .

Yea, I get that. I'd like to be able to re-tune for different weight pellets when I want. JSB 18.13 are less expensive than FX Hybid slugs, but sometimes you need a slug over a diabolo pellet.
