How do you know the BC of a pellet?

so how do you know the BC of a pellet when entering into a ballistic calculator like ChairGun?

is the BC always the same for a certain pellet or does it change with fps or different guns?

i want to know the BC of the Jsb 25.4 and Jsb 33.95 in .25 cal. I am using a wildcat and it shoots the kings 900 fps and the heavies 800 fps. Anyone know the BC’s of these two pellets?

Yes, temperature, velocity, and barrels affect the BC of the pellet for external ballistics (from when the pellet leaves the muzzle until it hits the target) purposes.

There are a lot of variables but for the purpose of entering into Chairgun or other ballistic apps... A good basic starting point is .0360 for the 25.39 and .0460 for the 33.95.
