How do you guys store your Leshiys?

Do you guys store them folded or unfolded? Being such a small gun it's hard to store in my safe in the unfolded position and so I resort to folded. I'm not a fan of leaving it cocked but curious if others do so as well? This is how mines stored at the moment

For me un folded in an ar 15 rifle case. I was concerned as well leaving it cocked for long periods.

I just noticed the other day the breech oring is looking extremely dry.

I store mine unfolded as I don't like increased tension on the hammer spring when not in use.

I shoot it and don't cock it. So it's unfolded and no pellet.

Can't remember where I saw it, but I vaguely recall reading the hammer springs are supposed to be serviceable after storing folded for up to 1 year. Looks like you've got room to store it unfolded though. Perhaps this will give you some ideas.

Genious! I think I can go that route pretty easily in the safe without it being in the way.

Ok so seems the majority don't leave it folded. As you guys I don't like leaving the hammer spring under tension but did read about something where the hammer spring was designed to be able to be under tension for a year with no issues.

I do unfolded as well. No real reason why, it just made sense at the time.

I generally leave my unfolded but if I find I need to leave it folded for very long I cock it and close it until it will dry fire. Just seems like nothing good can happen leaving any airgun cocked for long periods of time. Goes back to my springer days I guess.

I had this exact same question a few months ago, so I emailed Brian if the hammer spring would fatigue. His response was no problem, store it folded.

Unfolded. I don’t store any of my guns cocked. Why would my Leshiy be any different.

That certainly clears the air. And if you think about how "packable" they are, it makes even more sense.

I tend to keep my breach o-rings lubed up with a small amount of silicone oil and check them now and then. On the bright side they are easy to replace if and when they get crusty.

A touch of silicon oil on your finger tip and give the o-ring a little love. I figure it helps the breech seal a bit keeping it soft.
