I just bought the gauntlet .25 and bought the donnyfl sumo kit with upgraded air stripper. Where does the spring go and do I remove that plastic thing that was in the original tube?

Yes, remove the plastic baffle and the spring goes in front of the air stripper holding it in place. Then screw on the supplied adapter for the Sumo.
