how do i get the adapter off a donnyfl sumo

i have a sumo, i put it on my akela. i am going to sell the akela so i want to use the sumo on the marauder i ordered. 

i can't get the adapter out of the sumo... how do i get the adapter out?

Heat the stuck area up with a hot hair dryer for a while then use leather gloves to untwist them.

If the endcap unscrews too then still can't unscrew then use leather belts and vise grips on both ends.

thank you both.. a wrench did the trick.. should have put cardboard over it or cloth.. i scalped the thread a little.. its only the adapter. not sure scalped is the right term
