Hello does anybody make a special magazine the accommodates the size of the .30 cal pointed predator polymag pellets for fx dreamline power pup?
Single shot tray would be a good option, otherwise you need to cut the tip back. They make a short version in 22cal, but I am not sure it's available in 30cal.Hello does anybody make a special magazine the accommodates the size of the .30 cal pointed predator polymag pellets for fx dreamline power pup?
I was thinking about heating up a metal plate with a blow torch and setting it on top of a bunch of a moment and see if it melts the tips down before the lead meltsYou can clip polymag plastic tips short enough to fit in magazine using nail clippers or the like. Won't affect accuracy. Try it for yourself. Been doing it for years.
I've tried both methods but clipping (removing) just enough of the tip doesn't disturb air flow like "melting" did. Try both, see what your results are & let us know.I was thinking about heating up a metal plate with a blow torch and setting it on top of a bunch of a moment and see if it melts the tips down before the lead melts
I removed the tips but figured the hollow cavity in the pellet was going to effect flight so i filled them with a impact resistant glueyou can remove the tip with pliers........
it will not damage the projectile if done properly.
