Try Shooters Corner Inc in New Jersey. I was shocked by their pricing on the last Sightron I purchased, but you will have to call to get pricing.

DVOR sometimes have them on sale at very good price, got mine there. But it’s pretty rare to see the S8 there.

Can’t answer that without more info. Shooters Corner is a distributor, and I have gotten better pricing from them than anything else I’ve seen advertised; I meant shocked in a good way.

It depends on what you use it for, both are designed for long range precision shooting though.
Glass is better on the S8 but you have to put them side by side and it's very close...personal opinion
S8 is cheaper if you get the right sale.
S8 has more elevation adjustment 140 vs 120 on razor
S8 is 4 oz heavier 49 vs 45oz
S8 has 40mm tube so getting rings are difficult and expensive but it comes with a set.
My personal opinion is S8 wins at the same price but they are very hard to distinguish/differentiate for most people at most use cases. I also like the Sightron reticles a touch better. The Razor does have a touch fancier turret with couple of neat features but I'm cool without them. It is also my personal opinion that there is no scope currently can compete with the S8 in the under 3k street price range if you don't mind the weight and factory rings. Even at over 3k and higher range I doubt anyone can find significantly/noticeably better foundational features like image quality and elevation adjustment until you get to true top tier scopes like March genesis but that's 5 grand!

Sightron Will give law enforcement and military a discount on there scope so will other manufactures

Maybe look at CameraLandNY? They have great prices and if you call and ask they probably will give a discount...

im sorry you werent looking sooner 25% off thru december almost anywhere . if you can wait til a holiday maybe then. a gentleman on accurate shooter .com has good prices
