Benjamin How about some feedback from Semi-auto Marauder owners?

Hi, All,
I have a buddy who REALLY wants a semi-auto Marauder. How are you Marauder owners liking yours? I'm interested in how fiddly it is to keep it cycling reliably and of course, accuracy. He's kinda ham fisted and I don't want to get him into a messy situation. I am trying to steer him into something simpler but.....

Cocking it can be fiddly, You have to pull the T Handle all the way back and let it slam forward and then slap it to ensure it's fully seated. It is also under powered and I did not care for the trigger. Early models had issues witht he magazine cycling, but I believe that has been resolved. I know it's a lot more money, but the Huben K-1 is way better if he's really wanting an accurate, powerful semi-auto PCP with a really nice trigger!

I 2nd @FLgunner . I can't speak for the Huben but I had the SAM in .22 and it was shooting the 14.3gn Crosman's between 720-750 if I recall. The trigger was absolutely awful. Basically single stage, tons of travel and no idea when it was going to fire.

Not sure if this helps about 6 months to a year ago I posted on the best semi-automatic and hands down everyone seem to like the huben there were other runners up but that seemed to be the one that was the most recommended I plan to buy one soon.

Contrary to the posts above, the SAM that I bought used off AGN in 2022 has been a reliable, accurate gun. It shoots the JSB 15.89 at 835 fps, and can put ten shots inside a nickel at 40 yards. I have three magazines and each one shoots ten shots as fast as you can pull the trigger. Trigger isn’t great but not horrible, and is functional and certainly better than the LCS-19.
