How about another 2260 build?

Finally finished up this little girl. 2260 tube converted to pcp that I boogered up and it stopped holding air so I cut it down and added a safepac.

Getting 10 shots from 675-700-675 with 14.3s. Sure is a tiny thing.

Has a 14.5" barrel and wearing a refinished crosman 180 stock.

Also, for anyone interested, the transfer port sleeves on these guns will take an 8-32 tap without drilling. I installed some 8-32 grub screws and drilled them to different sizes to change velocity. Smallest one I can get 15 shots in the 550 range and largest will get 5 shots at over 800 lol.

I need a better scope. Non AO doesn't work for me, it's fuzzy til about 30 yards. Anyone recommend a scope in this size that's AO and possibly adjustable magnification?

The Hawke Vantage line is pretty small and lightweight and comes in both a side focus and an AO depending on your preferences.

I've been looking at them and even the higher power ones look pretty small. Just don't want to over scope it lol.

I'm thinking a 2-7x32 AO just for some adjustability. I have a 4x32 AO here but it's longer than I'd like. This 4x32 BSA I have on it now is more like a 4x22 lol

I've always found the 4-16x range perfect for a "general use" gun. The lower magnifications work great for hunting while the 16x works really well for target shooting because I can clearly see holes at longer ranges. I tend to go the extremes though on purpose built guns. The 2-7x is excellent for pesting whereas I have a few scopes in the 30-50x range for target specific guns.

Yep, most of my scopes are 4-16
40 or 44 AO.

I decided if I'm buying a scope it'll be for my Kral minipup I built. It's begging for a better scope. All it has is a bugbuster knock off 3-9x32AO made by firewolf. I have a real bugbuster on my 556 rifle for CQB duty, and it's MUCH better than the firewolf.

So off goes the crappy BSA 4x32, on goes the less crappy Firewolf 3-9x32!

Should be a great combo for the limits of this rifle. Sub 40y hunting/pesting.

Thanks for the suggestion! The firewolf should be good for this rig. It's bright and works good and clear, just smaller diameter than a true 32mm. The eye piece is smaller than average scopes too. It looks good on there and it's dead on with AA16s at 20 feet. I'll get her out soon and get some groups.

Didn't get a chance to take this little one out today, it was windy until about 430, dark little after 5. That and it being a 10 shot per fill gun would be tedious without tethering to my bottle. Once I get my shooting table setup I'll be able to mount the rest and bottle and leave the gun basically regged at 3000 psi with bottle pressure. 3L should last awhile!

Oh, and I got an old discovery fill cap to fit over the fill nipple dust cover so it looks pretty factory now. I'll get some pics up later with it and the table setup. Found an old 70s end table in the trash while out on a service call and it was screaming shooting table so I tossed it in the van. Apparently I modify furniture now too!
