@cavedweller Wow. I enjoyed watching the mechanisms responsible change in magnification. It is also interesting watching the purge process. The explanation satisfied my curiosity about what the lone screw is used for on the lower mid body of a scope. I also like the idea of custom turrets. Thanks for sharing Rudy. I would’ve like to hear more about the glass, but I get not wanting to give away too much information. Too bad they didn’t take us through any overseas factories.
Nice Process. . It's a tough scope, for sure. I have not tried one in over a decade. The old ones were not really easy for me to get behind. Before I retired, I always liked visiting manufacturing facilities. I was like a kid in a sandbox. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for the viideo Cavedweller I am amazed with the starting chunk of aluminium they start with to make the tube for the scope. Really liked the "why it came back" portion .. some of those were incredible I imagine that the glass is a closely guarded process .. agree with Ezana4ce.
