I hate the feeling of impending doom.

(Bald face) Hornets, yellow jackets and other wasps can get through most of those bee suits. These red wasps will eat you alive:

I fear your BB guns are not up to the task. I would favor a hit and run with a 12 guage and bird shot, from a good distance with some place like car to escape to.

Yes the bee suit is to fill gaps. I am going to have full leather and a hoodie under that. And a full plastic face shield in case my face gets sprayed . Or my nose gets to close to the screen.

I had to take out a hornets nest recently on a hiking trail near my house. They built it right on top of the trail and it was a matter of time before some kids were going to have a very bad day.
I went out to the nest early AM just as the sun was coming up with two cans of hornet spray (one foam and one long distance). Hit them at the bottom hole with the foam and then quickly saturated the nest (it was as big as a basketball) with foam and then backed up and let them have it with the long distance spray. It killed every single hornet and not one made it out the nest alive. I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt so I think you will be perfectly fine with any additional coverage.

Good on You! I see any nest be it hornet wasp or any similar with exception to Bee's, I take them out including the nest. I make note of the location, them come calling after sundown. I see no possible reason for their existence.

Ball facred hornets are definitely evil bastards. I still have work to do killing this nest. It is full of rubber mulch, so I have been putting off death with FIRE. Lol,4 cans in and those turds are still flying around. They kicked my ass once already, damn terrorist still have my hat held capture as well. 🤦‍♂️

Yea, they are mean suckers. I was trail running one time and felt something whack my leg and was 100% certain I had just been struck by a venomous snake. Nope, it was a mean hornet that was flying by and popped me for no good reason. Since that day, I have made it my call from heaven to eradicate every hornet or yellow jacket nest I encounter.
Let them settle down at night and then get two cans of foaming spray, double fist them and lay down the pain train!

I have a European hornets nest on my field target course. I got stung so it’s war.
The nest is at about five feet above the ground. I can reach it all without a ladder. It is attached to a number of branches I can cut with clippers. And dump the nest into a trash bag.

My plan is to put on a full leather motorcycle racing suit. Full face helmet gloves and boots. Thick wet towel around my neck. Nothing exposed. I will dump a full can of wasp spray on the nest starting at the hole. So I block them in . Then cover the nest and go in and cut it out.

Anyone ever try this?
Am I gonna die?
What is wrong with my plan beside is changing after I get punched in the face.
How about a torch that is used to burn weeds?

Place a cheap steak on top of that box and wait for them to land. Pick ‘‘em off one by one from a safe distance.

Make lemonade out of lemons.

I am going to the range soon. My wife has an EpiPen . I have my medical cards in my wallet . Bottom layer is sweats and a hoodie then leather pants and jacket , over all of the I got a bees suit and plastic face shield . I am going in with one can to soak them down and blast the entrance and one can to fog the nest in bursts . Depending on my protection s performance I plan to wait a couple minutes. Maybe walk into the wooded are and let them follow me as I spray them then cut the limbs and put the nest in a trash bag. All depends how may stings I get . Next I will walk up the road and my wife will follow and see if there are bees on me. That’s the plan. I also have a go pro so I will start the video at the nest . I don’t like gaming even insects. But I have a lot invested in the range and don’t want anyone to get hurt.

Good luck. I hope you get all of them, and none get you. ;)
