Hornet Attack

This was one of thoes ( no one is gonna beleive, betcha I cant do that again shots) Here in Texas we have these big yellow and black hornets about a inch and a half long. I was target shooting at 25 yards. One started buzzing back and forth in fornt of the target so on about the third pass I led him a little like you would a dove and down he came haha. it would have made a cool video I got get a camera.

FWB 124 in 177 cal, Hit him in the abdomen right below the wings if you look close you can see a little daylight and a notch there

That's pretty cool! the first time i got my discovery i saw a carpenter-bee at a bout 10 yards i just used the side of the barrel pulled the trigger and down he went . Good shootin! ;D

Looks like a Digger Wasp. I have seen those in GA & NJ. Hate those things. They don't really try to sting you but they do dive bomb you. Nice shooting.

I can't hit those hornets so I resort to slower game...but I did get video. A two-for and no head shot necessary.

just spray a sheet of cardboard with sugar infused water and get place it near where the devils stomp then get set at safe distance like 25 m in case you miss lol

I saw several of those things in Del Rio when I was down there a week ago. Then the tornado and flood hit, and I said "enough of this extreme Texas, I'm going back home."

They are legal to hunt in Wisconsin. So long as you don't exceed the bag limit.
