My cousins son had a blast this past weekend with my Evol Mini. He was drilling coke cans at 60 pretty consistently and we were even having to hold for wind. The boy is thoroughly hooked. 
His dad mentioned that one of the guys at his hunting club just bought a .50 cal air rifle, so after he shot, it didn't take much convincing to get the kid something. He takes after his dad and will never see the top of a fridge either, so even with the stock all the way in, he still had to do some finagalin to get a sight picture, making the hits more impressive.
And I just happen to have a great starter rifle for him. I picked up a S200 from AoA a while back with a broken stock. LOL I still haven't gotten around to repairing the stock and it's been hanging out needing a reason for me to do something with it. Gonna slap some epoxy on it and call it good, then we'll probably have to chop half the butt stock off to fit him, but I'm thinkin Uncle Santa is gonna crush it this year
