Anyone out there have experience shooting feral hogs? If so, what are the particulars of what you shoot? Thank you in advance.

Shoot pigs every chance I get. I do head shoot every pig. Right behind the ear seems to be a very good off switch and I do place a second shot to make sure they are anchored in the spot. Most of my hunting is at night at a feeder and keeping my shots at 50 yds or less. I mainly use a .457 Texan but I have taken several with my .257 Texan and my .25 Condor SS.
I shoot all sizes, but butcher out all that are 125# or less. Bigger pigs it depends on smell and usually on them I take the hindquarters and back straps only.

May I suggest going to YouTube and looking up ' lee chiu hog hunting'

After that, follow the threads on YouTube, but do be careful, there are some irresponsible hunting vids posted.

I’ll “second” Oakhonor’s comment about Manny’ posts. His videos have a lot to offer when it comes to shooting hogs with air rifles and hunting skills.
