Tuning Hm1000x reg inconsistent readings

So I polished all the washers, mostly on the concave and convex side. Removed some material from the knurled nut. The stack seems to sit much nicer. They can no longer miss align 

ES appears to be around 8-5…range till will tell if she’s accurate again

Make sure you mirror polish the Peek seat too - not as forgiving as Delrin and much harder to seal.

Not sure polishing the Belleville washers helps much, I'd just replace them. Here is the washer order on my .22 cal. RAW.

I've read from bucket boy that cleaning up the Belleville washers helps consistency with them if I remember correctly

Why replace them? Just curious?

I used a very sharp carbide boring bar to surface the seat. It’s has a pretty nice finish.

See if it fixes it, otherwise replace. If the seat seals and the guns set-point is still and issue, check o-rings on stem and or replace washers.

Also, Call Martin - he supposedly fixed this issue right?

I have been in touch with him…however, he’s not much help unless he has the parts in hand. He suggested I send back the reg. 


as of right now, it appears to work. I’ll let you know.



personally, I’d rather have a custom tuner work on it.

Why does raw use that white oring? 
Anything special about it? 


if the orings failed? I’d have regulated or unregulated air coming out of the vent hole? Depending on which side. Right?
