Hello,
my new to me 1000x started leaking Between the regulator & fill / gage V block. I removed the barrel, bottle & regulator and took off the vblock that need a couple taps with leather hammer to get it off. I sent the regulator to Martin @ airguns USA. I bought an o ring pack for the rifle. I replaced the orings in the vblock With tiniest amount of silicone .screwed the regulator in and slid the vblock back on with no trouble, screwed in the bottle. The vblock will spin now? Filled with some air now coming out of the barrel. Any further info greatly appreciated. As I plan on keeping this rifle I would like to know how properly service it.
thanks,
kent

Thank you Gear Junkie
Gear junkie, I sent the regulator to Martin cuz I tinkered with it. I got an o ring kit for the receiver block & changed em out with a tiny bit of silicone grease. The DelRin piece has a ring around it where it seats. I’m guessing that may be where it leaking I put it back together it will hold some air but still leaks. Also are there 3 o rings for the brass valve part? A clear picture would be wonderful. For such a popular rifle the amount of info. Is scant imho. Again , thank you for your help.

Can you send a pic of the Delrin piece that you are talking about?

I agree about the lack of a guide on these rifles, it's kind of frustrating. There was a recent thread in the past few weeks ( I think???) about a RAW reg rebuild. You may want to try and search for this. There were lots of pics if I remember right.

Not the reg. The brass valve

It’s not clear with ur description as to what’s leaking?

Delrin on the reg would be the gland or reg seat. That would only be an issue for creeping or no functional regulator.

There are a couple oring on the reg core that can cause leaking.
As well at oring on the bottle and inside the v collar.

Please show a photo of what leaks

These are the parts, I have them layed out in the order they should be, I think. The regulator was rebuilt by Martin, I have not done anything to it . I didn’t have the smallest o ring installed. I hope someone will advise me if this looks correct. I have not done anything to the air bottle .

I might try replacing the o-rings on the valve again, being extra careful not to get any lint or other foreign material on the o-rings, and then give this another shot. If this doesn't work, I think I would check in with Martin about getting another valve body and stem.

One weird thing - I notice an o-ring on your hammer. Why is that there???
Gear-junkie, just trying different stuff, I’ll be the first to admit it dont know squat about the workings of PCP’s. Most of my gunsmithing has been on powder burners & flintlocks I used to scratch built. I will remove it before reassembly. I have kept the parts cleaned to dry with a tiny amount of silicone grease on the o rings. If the rest looks to be in proper order I’ll reassemble. If you have time I would call or we could chat Or email. However I don’t want to impose

I think it would be helpful to keep the conversation here, just so others can benefit from learning how to resolve a similar issue with their RAW. As we know, there isn't a great amount of detailed information on resolving issues with the RAW's other than what's on the forums. If there is something you want to talk about offline about this, we can do it over email, PM, or I can give you a call (y)

I would make the suggestions in my post above, in addition to thoroughly cleaning the hammer of any lubricants (and remove that o-ring! 😁). You should also do your best to clean the inside of the chamber that the hammer slides in. You can use a dowel wrapped in a rag or paper towels moistened (not dripping wet) with isopropyl alcohol. Ideally, both the chamber and the hammer should be completely free of any lubricants, so the hammer flight is consistent. Feel free to give this a shot and post your results back here.

Good Luck!
