He got 168 shots but it wasnt consistent shots meaning they were farther apart in fps so he wants to get 100 shots that are closer together in fps I believe is what he was saying

Well I got my ssg made and tested I'm at a avg of 54 ftlbs and 849 fps for 48 shots . I'm going to back the ssg off some and see if I get better efficiency I'm at 1.1 . I'm thinking 830 fps will be better. I might have the gap set a little tight yet also

I increased the gap the gun got quieter than it was efficiency stayed about the same at 1.1 avg fps 844 I'm going to leave it there and plan to refill at 150 bar to keep my fps spread low

I find this discussion and the people involved absolutely amazing! My TM1000 FT cylinder gun only gets 50-55 shots (10.34 @ 900fps) on reg and I’d love to improve efficiency. But this whole idea of making and tuning a ssg is WAY above my pay grade. At any rate, I do enjoy reading about successfully making a great gun greater. Uj

The RAW has an anti bounce device, it’s a separate weight inside the hammer that strikes the bottom of the hammer after the hammer has struck the valve. This inertia weight drastically reduces hammer bounce and increases consistency. A heavier inertia weight can improve things further, almost to the efficiency of an ssg but without the hassle of the setup.

Another option for the RAW is a modified through hammer slingshot striker, this is super efficient but only in lower powered gangs due to the relatively light striker
