IMO, for best accuracy, I would go without a shroud or moderator. Yes, it will be louder, but shooting against rimfires? Who cares. You could discuss this with Martin because I see that he installs muzzle brakes on some of his rifles. I've tried an air stripper on my TM1000 and decided that it didn't make any difference. I guess I would go bare barrel.

Guess I'll be the outsider here, I have both versions (the 22 with the original air stripper and the 25 has a threaded end - not muzzle as Martin refuses to thread the muzzle. It's an add on piece.) I shot the newer one without moderator and accuracy/consistency sucked! I added a DonnyFL and consistency went fantastic. My 22 with the original can is far more consistent than the 25 with the add-on Donny. I can post lots of target pics to prove it, but I wouldn't buy one of the newer versions just for the lack of the monster can. Now the cocking handle — that's a different story! 😏

Ross, as we know, Martin also builds suppressors that work in tandem with HIS GUNS..LOL! I also like the new biathlon lever and if I ever want to upgrade...LOL! There are snap on biathlon levers by Cube on ebay that fit RAW's and HW's, cheap upgrade...it also has a set screw but everyone says it doesn't need it FYI...I'll try and post a link.
