Hill Mk4 Rebuild?

Had my Mk4 for 3-4 years and have had no issues until today. I had been storing it standing vertically in a closet but moved it to the garage and stored it horizontally to save space. It won't pump and the handle has some "bounce" for lack of a better description.

Looked on the Mill website and didn't see any "how-to" videos for servicing or even part kit to rebuild. The manual isn't any help in that regard, either. Any suggestions on rebuild videos?

I did find Mk4 rebuild kits and O-rings at Pyramyd Air. Kits seem pricy at $37. Anyone know of any less expensive rebuild kit options?

When you buy the kit from pyramidair inside are the instructions.. I did it a long time ago, is not complicated

I don't own a MK4 but try removing the pump handle and working the rod with silicone then using a pair of shims as washers to not tighten the handle screws as much.

Thx everyone. Found a reasonably priced rebuild kit. Will try it after shimming the handle.

It is not that hard i recently rebuild one.Make sure to clean good all the parts and polish the tubes because they are probably little rusted like mine were even if i was using moisture filter.Put some silicone grease on orings and tubes.

I've often found that the check valve is the main issue with hand pumps, and I've owned a few. The check valve can get some debris in it. I would look at that first, it may not need to be completely rebuilt, just try and clean it.

Took me a couple listens to determine that a "noom retune vulva" meant "non-return valve" which means "check valve"..LOL

Cleaned it up. Wow!, was really dirty. Reassembled and is now blowing air. 

But now it seems like the pump is pressurizing the pump fill line, but possibly the fill valve in the PCP is stuck..IDK

Off to trouble shoot that. Gotta love PCPs ;-)

I am having a major problem with the small green high pressure o-ring failing. The last one I replaced only lasted for two pumping sessions. I slowly pump for 40 strokes, let the pump cool for 20 minutes and repeat the sequence. I relube the o-ring when replacing it. I can't figure out why they are failing so fast. Any help?
