I am not going to argue about the prices for the spares, but if ordered from the UK you will be able to deduct the VAT, which just about covers the shipping to the US. Also, they ship so quickly that I had spares in hand 3-4 days after I placed my order. Granted, I am on the East Coast, but I find ordering from Europe I get my parts far quicker than ordering domestically - that goes for pellets, spares and accessories coming from Spain, England or the Czech Republic. YMMV
